History Course Overview
In mid-2025, I was approached by the History Department at Ulster University, alongside a fellow peer, to produce a promotional video for their newly restructured course offering. The goal was to create a compelling and informative piece that would be featured on the official Ulster University website to help attract prospective students. This project involved close collaboration with faculty members to ensure the video accurately reflected the department’s refreshed vision, academic strengths, and student experience.
I was responsible for editing the video, ensuring high production quality and a clear narrative flow. Throughout the process, I adhered strictly to Ulster University's brand guidelines to maintain consistency in tone, style, and visual identity. The final product not only met the department’s expectations but also served as a key promotional asset in their student recruitment strategy.
Digital Media Production Course Overview
In late 2024, I collaborated with the Interactive Media team at Ulster University, now known as Digital Media Production, on the development of a course overview video aimed at promoting their newly updated curriculum. Working alongside two peers, we were entrusted with creating a dynamic and informative video that would communicate the course’s structure and creative opportunities to future students.
My primary role focused on editing, where I brought together dense informational content with animated graphics to enhance clarity and maintain viewer engagement. This required a thoughtful balance of pacing, visual storytelling and design coherence to ensure the final piece was both accessible and visually compelling. The end result was a polished and effective video resource that reflected the innovative spirit of the course and supported the department’s outreach goals.
